I'm a photographer who most enjoys documenting my surroundings as they are. Although my professional experience is broad and spans an extensive exposure to many forms of photography -- documentary, editorial, fine art, architectural and commercial -- my primary focus of interest are almost always people in their natural environments.

Musicians have been dear to me, because their connection to the human experience is direct and immediate, yet undeniably invisible. Being a visual person myself, music is an art form which I find to be abstract mystery.  With the help of my camera, I feel privileged to learn about the art and about the artists, who braid together sounds and emotions into tangible feeling.

The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.
